Whitewater Rafting
Costa Rica travelers always list whitewater rafting as a highlight. There are so many rivers to choose from andwe vary each year depending on the water level, the amount of rainfall, and the recommendations of the experts. We promise exhilarating rapids, breath-taking plunges, great guides, and an unforgettable grand finale. The expert guides provide us with the best equipment available and their expertise is beyond reproach.
Volcano Trekking
Arenol Volcano and Volcan Baru offer exceptional views. our teen tours take us up close and personal to these awesome views. Bring a camera and get prepared to be amazed! Often, our Costa Rica tour participants not only see the lava, but actually hear the explosions!
Zip Line Canopy Tour
Imagine 13 (yes, 13) long runs! Imagine viewing wildlife along the way! Imagine pristine views of the Pacific Ocean! It doesn't get any better than this!
Rain Forest Visit
Adventure travel in CostaRica should always include rain forest visits and our teen travel tours visit the rainforest multiple times. Expect to see sloths, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, scarlet macaws, dart frogs, boas, iguanas, crocs, mapaches, and more!
Surfing (optional)
World famous Pavones is part of our itinerary for the experienced or brave at heart. Others can take lessons at other beautiful Pacific beaches where the waves are a bit smaller. Boogie boarding is another alternative. No matter what you choose, a day at the beach is an awesome day!

Monkey Reserve visit
Visit an 0ff-the-beaten-path wildlife habitat dedicated to saving the rainforest animals. Hold on to your hat because the monkeys there already have a collection of hats belonging to previous Costa Rica teen tour participants.
National Park visits
Costa Rica has so many national parks and protected land. Costa Rica Adventure Camp believes this is the perfect setting to experience the wonders of Costa Rica so we will visit many of them. Manuel Antonio, Rincon de La Vieja, Poas, and Arenol are just some of the places we fequent.
Conversational Spanish Introduction
We usually travel with a native speaker who loves to teach us key phrases for our daily use. W

e can arrange additional private or small group lessons upon request.
Community Service Project
We visit local schools where we sometimes read with students and tell them about our culture. We might help in the rainforest, play games with students in the local libraries or assist with an ongoing beach clean-up.
Cultural Experiences
We'll eat in local restaurants, chat with local families, visit libraries and schools, and stay away from the tourist areas. We strive to give our teen tours a sense of the REAL Costa Rican lifestyle.
Pristine Beach visits
Imagine dark sand beaches with no other people in sight. Dolphins, turtles, and more.
Beach biking (optional)
Flat sandy beaches at low tide is the perfect bike ride. Actually ride from one village to another. Pass fishermen, and with a little luck, a great little seaside restaurant just waiting for us to sample the local food.
Canyoning
Rappel down a waterfall before plunging into the cool, refreshing waters below.
Tubing
Take a thrilling tube ride through the gorge!
Team Building
practice your leadership skills as you work with your team to meet all kinds of challenges. our adventure camp teens always amaze us with their ability to meet all challenges head on!
Horseback Riding
End the day by riding across the mountain ridges on spirited horses after an exhausting, fun-filled day of water activities
Kayaking
Ocean kayaking with the dolphins and floating in on the waves is amazing. Adventure tours also take the kayaks into the rivers to see crocs, turtles, birds, snakes, monkeys, and more. Our teen travel tour really gets you out there with nature!
Snorkeling
Tropical fish and turtles are what our adventure campers are looking for. You never know what is out there but a good time is always had by all!
